The Loose in Lauriston Field provides a secure, enjoyable environment for dogs to play freely. The facility features a secure 2.5-acre field. The 1.6m high fenced field provides a fully secure space for you to enjoy. It’s an ideal place if your dog is reactive, nervous, older, has recall issues or is still learning to be sociable. Many users appreciate the ease of booking and the well-maintained grounds, making it an ideal spot for dog training or simply letting pets socialise. This spacious field provides ample room for dogs to stretch their legs and engage in activities. A secure, gated area that ensures your dogs can roam safely without interference from other animals or humans. The Field entrance is next to the Toby Carvery. Customers can park on the grass in front of the gate; there is also plenty of nearby street parking, and the Toby Carvery car park may be available.

You will have nearly 3 acres of fenced-in field all to yourself! The Field entrance and Parking for the field are right in front of the gated entrance to the field - on the grass, next to the Toby Carvery Car park.

House rules
- 1 There is a small parking area on the grass at the gate; local street parking, and Toby Carvery car park are also available. Please ensure the entrance gate is securely closed behind you when entering and leaving. Please do not enter the field while somebody else is using it. If someone is using the field when your appointment starts, please let us know immediately, our number is on this website.
- 2 If you notice any issues with field or fence, please report them to us immediately, either by email: Bookings@freedomfield.dog. Thank you.
- 3 All dogs must be supervised at all times. The fence and wall heights can vary. Owners are solely responsible for their dogs’ behaviour and any damage or injury caused by their dogs.
- 4 The normal ratio is a maximum of 3 dogs per adult. If you wish to share your booking with a friend, it is your responsibility to ensure your friend reads and agrees to these terms and conditions.
- 5 "We kindly ask that if you see a poo, please pick it up and place in the bin provided” So we can work together to keep the space clean and fun to use. Thank you.
- 6 The use of training aids, toys, or equipment is permitted but must not cause damage to the field or pose a hazard to other users. These must be removed when you leave.

As a former professional dog walker and owner of reactive dogs who lived locally, I saw a real need for a local solution to help similar dog owners. Although it took several years to obtain change-of-use planning permission and get this project off the ground, I hope you and your dogs enjoy it.
